Having played college and professional sports, I have met some large men in my life, but Glenn Braggs rivals them all with biceps any Greek statue would be jealous of. I first met Glenn years ago and was a bit starstruck since I had followed his career as a kid. The Cincinnati Reds were on TV all the time when I was a youngster playing baseball. This monster of man has been nothing but kind and willing to help my ministry in any way he could—this includes letting me beat him in an arm wrestling contest…on video. (I’ve got proof, lol!)

Glenn now spends his time on personal training and helping others achieve their fitness goals. He is passionate and driven about helping others not only with their nutrition and fitness, but also about speaking truth about life, family, and faith.

Although it’s been a few years since he’s gotten paid to swing a bat, those who are in the Cincinnati Reds organization still know him by name—and if you ever travel to Japan, you’ll still see Braggs jerseys roaming the streets. Glenn is a larger-than-life figure who has a soft and gentle spirit…just don’t throw him an inside fastball.

In spending time with Glenn, I admire his humility and the way he cares deeply for his family. His wife is a famous singer, and it would be expected for them to live a charismatic and celebrity lifestyle. However, that’s not the case at the Braggs’ household. God comes first. So, if you ever get a chance to meet this awesome dude, be sure to ask for a hand shake—your hand will never feel so small.
