Damien Hobgood

15-year Pro Surfer

Meet Pro Surfer Damien Hobgood. Yeah, the guy I witnessed surf better switch foot than most guys can regular foot. Damien surfed for 14 years on the World Championship Tour. This is no easy feat as the tour only allows 32 guys to participate each year.

Beyond his amazing surfing skills and lengthy pro career, Damien has a heart for the Lord and real perspective on who he is as a son the King. He was gracious with us, and it was a thrill getting to surf with this legend. His twin brother, C.J., was also a surfing pro, and they both lived out their faith in a world and culture dominated by anything but Jesus. I cannot wait for everyone to hear from Damien and see the amazing day we had at the beach. I’m still waiting for my one-on-one basketball rematch.
