New Testament GOAT’s

In the sports world, people love to engage in the never-ending debate, “Who is the Greatest of All Time (G.O.A.T.)?” However, sometimes we forget that what makes someone great on the playing field doesn’t impress God. Within the Bible, we see superior traits that should be the measure of true greatness. Those who have sacrificed, persevered, and devoted themselves to the Lord should be our standard. This study examines the G.O.A.T.’s of the New Testament and uncovers the strengths we should strive for. Obviously, Jesus Christ is the one and only, perfect, Greatest of All Time, but we will look at four great yet imperfect people in the New Testament whom God used for His glory:

  • Mary, the mother of Jesus
  • Peter, the apostle
  • Paul, the apostle
  • John the Baptist
